Reiki Master Teacher Susan Rouse has been a registered Reiki Master Teacher with the Canadian Reiki Association since 2009. All Reiki Courses adhere to the high standards set by CRA and cover techniques for working on people, pets, and animals. You can find scheduled training courses and workshops on my Upcoming Events page, and Reiki Courses can be arranged upon request, available during the week or on weekends.

**Introduction to Reiki Session**
Join us for a 1.5-hour informal session that introduces you to the healing energy of Reiki.
Experience the gentle, non-invasive approach to Reiki healing.
What is Reiki?
Who is the founder and what is the history of Reiki?
How can I apply Reiki for myself, others, pets, and animals?
You will discover the universal healing energy of Reiki, learn to feel, sense, and visualize energy, and understand how to ground yourself to deflect negative energy. Participants will receive a Reiki-infused towel and valuable insights about Reiki.
Cedar Cove Wellness is conveniently located just north of Cobourg, Ontario.
The cost of the session is $10.00.
If you choose to enroll in The Reiki First Degree Course (Reiki Level 1) afterward, you'll receive a $10 discount. Please reach out to Susan if you're interested.
First Degree Reiki Level 1 course
Maximum group size is 4 participants.
In this one-day First Degree Reiki Level 1 certificate course (also available in two shorter sessions), you'll discover Reiki's simplicity and amazing potential. By the end, you'll be ready to share Reiki with family, friends, and even pets.
No prior experience is necessary.
Course covers:
- The history and workings of Reiki.
- Affirmations, principles, ethics, and precepts.
- Techniques to sense and visualize energy.
- Understanding how energy heals humans, animals, and plants.
- Integrating intention with Reiki.
- Protecting against negative energies.
- Four First Degree Attunements.
- Scanning and hand positions for treating self, others, and pets.
- Practice: Participants will give and receive an hour-long Reiki session on a massage/Reiki table.
- Conducting Reiki sessions in a chair.
- Using Reiki to energize and infuse items like crystals, food, and beverages.
- Discussing eligibility for Canadian Reiki Association Membership.
- Course includes a Reiki First Degree Manual, your Reiki Lineage, and a Reiki-energized towel and crystal.
- Receive a Reiki Level I (First Degree) Certificate upon completion.

Second Degree Reiki Level 2 Practitioner Certification Course
Maximum group size is 4 participants.
Please note that you must have completed First Degree Reiki or Reiki Level 1 as a prerequisite. Our course aligns with The Canadian Reiki Association's high standards (http://www.reiki.ca/).
The course covers:
- A review of First Degree Reiki
- Introduction to three Reiki symbols: power, harmony (emotional), and distance, including how to draw and apply them
- Two attunements for Second Degree Reiki
- Techniques to protect yourself from negative energies
- Guidance on conducting distance sessions, with practice time for both people and pets
- The Time-Release Distant Method™
- Hands-on practice giving and receiving Reiki sessions using the symbols
- Using the Harmony Technique for emotional healing with people and pets
- Application of Second Degree symbols on people and pets
- Assessing major chakras using a pendulum
- Business tips for your Reiki practice, including social media, insurance, client forms, website, and advertising
- Discussion on Canadian Reiki Association membership eligibility or upgrades
- Receive a comprehensive Reiki Second Degree Manual and a copy of your Reiki lineage
- Learn how to infuse and energize items, food, and drinks with Reiki energy
- Receive and experience Reiki energized crystal, placemat, and pendulum

**Reiki Master Practitioner Course**
This course offered in either a single 8-hour session or split into two 4.5-hour sessions.
To enroll, you must have completed the Second Degree Reiki or Reiki Level 2.
This course is designed individuals who wish to deepen their knowledge and receive an additional attunement, without the intention of teaching. You will be attuned to the Usui Master Symbol Daikomyo (Reisho Style).
Participation in this course is optional and not prerequisite for the Reiki Master Teacher course.
Course topics include- Review of First and Second Level Reiki
- Drawing and utilizing the Master Symbol Daikomyo
- Setting up and activating a Reiki Crystal Grid
- Incorporating crystals in Reiki practice
- Aura clearing techniques
- Reiki meditation
- Using a pendulum with Reiki
- Chanting with Reiki symbols
- Tips for developing a Reiki practice and business
The course fee of $275 applies to Reiki students of Cedar Cove Wellness, while others will be charged $295. This includes a manual certificate upon completion, and refreshments.
Crystals for the Reiki Crystal Grid are provided as part of the course cost. Additionally, Reiki students from Cedar Cove Wellness can join our in person Reiki Practice Group/Share at no extra charge for ongoing support and practice.

**Reiki Master Teacher Course**
The Reiki Master/Teacher Certificate Course consists of three 5-hour days, with an additional session scheduled later for practicing attunements. Participation in other First, Second, and Third Degree Classes is also included for continued learning.
Prerequisite: Second Degree Reiki This curriculum adheres to the high standards set by The Canadian Reiki Association (www.reiki.ca).

- Review of First and Second Level Reiki - Instruction on drawing and utilizing the Master symbol Daikomyo
- Instruction on drawing and utilizing the Johrei symbol
