When I took my first Level 1 Therapeutic Touch ™ course, I did it for my dog Cleo. She was having breathing problems and was on prednisone. After being able to help her to feel better with Therapeutic Touch, I was hooked on energy work.
I continued taking my 2nd and 3rd level of Therapeutic Touch from a very caring teacher, Pat Hall. After completing my levels with her, I took my 3 levels of Therapeutic Touch again from Alison Cooke.
After completing the 72 case study practitioner work book (of supervised and unsupervised case studies) and sending it into the Therapeutic Touch Network of Ontario and it being reviewed, I became recognized as a Therapeutic Touch practitioner.
I continue to go to the Therapeutic Touch practice group led by Pat Hall, volunteer monthly at Cobourg Extendicare offering Therapeutic Touch, go to a yearly practice day and offer Therapeutic Touch in my business.
After learning Therapeutic Touch, I wanted more and took my first Reiki course, then I was hooked on that too! I have become a Reiki Master Teacher and love teaching Reiki as well as practicing Reiki and Therapeutic Touch for people and pets/animals.
My beloved dog Cleo had started me on my journey of energy work, she will forever be with me in spirit and in my heart.
